Obligation to Offer Work and Information on Vacancies

If the employer requires more employees for duties suitable for employees who are already doing part-time work for the employer, the employer shall offer such employment to these part-time employees. If accepting the work calls for training that the employer can reasonably provide in view of the aptitude of the employee, the employer shall provide the employee with such training.

The employer shall provide information on vacancies in accordance with practice generally adopted in the enterprise or at the workplace in order to ensure that part-time and fixed-term employees have the same opportunity of applying for these jobs as permanent or full-time employees.
