Payslip
When salary is paid, the employer shall give the employee a payslip showing the amount of the salary and the grounds for its determination. The payslip must be given in liaison with every payment and it must include how much the employee has earned within that pay period.
The employer must give the payslip on his/her own initiative and not just on employee's request.
The purpose of the payslip is to offer an employee a possibility to check whether or not his pay has been paid right. He can also use it for applying different social benefits.
If the employer does not give a payslip despite the employee’s request, the employer can be sentenced to pay fines for violation of the Employment Contracts Act.
