The Use of Waters

The use of waters and building, which has or may have an impact on waters or ground water, is guided by permit procedures of the Water Act. In addition, undertakings affecting surface water or groundwater are usually guided by the Environmental Protection Act. The provisions of the Use of Land and Building Act as well as other instructions and orders pertaining to construction must also be complied with when building concerns water management.
