Permit for Landscape Work
Earth works, tree-felling or corresponding action altering the landscape may not be carried out without a permit in areas:
covered by a local detailed plan;
covered by a detailed shore plan if the plan so stipulates;
covered by a local master plan, if the plan so stipulates; nor
where a building prohibition is in force for the purpose of drawing up a local detailed plan, or where it has been so ordered for the purpose of drawing up or amending a local master plan.
No permit is required to carry out for work that is necessary in order to implement a local detailed plan or a local master plan, or that is in accordance with a building or action permit that has been granted, or to take action that has only minor impact. It must be noted that the provisions regarding permits for landscape work are not applied to extraction of land resources which requires a land extraction permit.
