Regional Plan
Regional plans are plans of the region’s infrastructure presented on a map in accordance to the Land Use and Building Act. The regional plan describes the guidelines for construction and environmental development of the region for the upcoming decades. Regional planning guides local planning and other official activities that affect land use. The regional councils decide upon and draw up the regional plans. Further requirements for regional planning are stipulated in the Land Use and Building Act.
