    Ensuring right to work

    If foreign employers work in Finland in contracting or subcontracting work or, as temporary agency workers employed by a foreign employer, the contractor (main contractor or commissioner) has to ensure that, the foreign employee has the right to work in Finland. The justification of the right to work depends on the nationality of the employee, what kind of work the employee is coming to do and for how long.
