Orders
Various marketing channels such as brochures, product catalogues and web shops enable companies to efficiently market their products and services, and the customers to place orders for the seller’s products at will.
Also in this case, the general rule is that an order is binding. The customer cannot automatically cancel an order merely because he/she has had a change of mind. An order may only be cancelled if the product is materially defective, or if the seller is either materially delayed or fails to deliver altogether. The parties to the sale may also agree on a sale on approval, in which case the customer has extensive rights to return the product.
