The Policy Holder’s Right to Terminate the Insurance
Naturally, the policy holder is entitled to terminate the insurance during the insurance period. The termination must always be done in writing. If the policy holder has not determined the date of termination, the insurance terminates once the notice of termination has been given or sent to the insurer. An exception to the right to terminate is formed by insurances that are for a duration of less than 30 days. These cannot be terminated.
