General Contractual Terms for Consultancy Agreements

Different industries have their own template agreements and general terms for consultancy agreements. Contract templates exist, among others, within the IT, consulting and construction industries.

Within the IT sector, IT2022 EAP Special terms and conditions for consulting and other professional services have been drafted for use together with the YSE 2022 General terms and conditions. RT 13-11143 E General Conditions for Consulting KSE 2013 exist within the construction industry. They are used in assignments relating to research, planning and control associated with construction, productive operations and communities. The terms have been drafted jointly by RAKLI - The Finnish Association of Building Owners and Construction Clients, the Finnish Association of Consulting Firms SKOL and the Finnish Association of Architects SAFA.

When using general terms, it is always advisable to verify, if the terms care applicable as such to the relevant consultancy services, or if deviating or supplementary terms should be agreed upon.
